OVERVIEW

Metrus financed a $4.2 million efficiency upgrade for our Fortune 500 customer at their manufacturing facility in the Midwest. Our customer has ambitious energy reduction goals and needed to upgrade critical facility equipment. Like all Metrus projects, our manufacturing customer incurs no cost for the efficiency upgrades and receives annual cash savings during the 10-year Efficiency Services Agreement (ESA). During construction, new efficiency upgrades were uncovered and added to the original ESA, which is a proven benefit of the ESA’s flexible structure. These added upgrades boosted total savings by approximately 10%. This project is the first in a multi-site ESA program for our Fortune 500 customer that will include a diverse mix of site-specific, efficiency technologies and upgrades. While this Fortune 500 ESA program will start with site-specific, efficiency upgrade projects in the U.S.,

it has the built-in capacity to rollout globally.
